ABOUT
Welcome to The School of Dance Watlington
Teaching you the love of dance
I Love to Teach
The School of Dance Watlington is in association with the OFQual registered BBO dance and has been running for over 40 years. My passion for dancing began at an early age and at just 3 years old, I joined The School of Dance myself. I went on to vocational dance school in London (LSC) for a year then I finished my diploma of HE at Bodywork Company Cambridge. I have enjoyed many experiences after this, from working on cruise ships and my time with Spirit Productions and subsequently traveling all over the world. Finally I came back home to start a family of my own and I was thrilled to take over The School of Dance Watlington. I gained my teaching qualifications along the way.

Exams, Awards & Achievements
I love to see my students progress
The School of Dance is in association with the BBO – dance, this is our examination board, it is OFQual registered and all graded examination students gain UCAS points.
Here at The School of Dance in Watlington, I hold a Prize Giving every year where all of my students come to collect their certificates from exams over the year.
Those students that are lucky enough to have got a distinction in their exams are awarded a prize. We also have many trophies to give out. Some of these include The School Cup and The Penny Trophy from the former principle and founder of the school. We also give away a full scholarship to one student for the year! A big congratulations to my students who have developed so well and gone off to professional collage.

Students’ Testimonials
What my students say
I’ve been going to the watlington school of dance since I was 3 years old and have always loved it! Emily is an amazing teacher and makes the lessons so enjoyable which makes me love it even more ! Going to Emily’s has made me want to become a dance teacher when I’m older and I would like do the same as she did . If you don’t go already I definitely recommend you going because I enjoy it so much and I’m going to be devastated when I’m older when I have to leave and hopefully go on to do bigger things ! – Izzy
Ballet Student
BalletWatlington School of Dance is a warm and welcoming place where I was given the opportunity to dance and to explore my creativity. It offers training in a range of dance styles which, whilst enjoyable, also allows you to improve and progress quickly. I was truly inspired by Emily Law who encouraged me to pursue my dream of dancing. Her love of dancing is infectious and she passed this on to me, along with her vast knowledge of this wonderful art form.- sophie
